Cloudflare, a cyber security services company, has launched a new Open for Business project. A database of free products and services for remote work from large technology companies is being assembled at the site, reports Business Insider.

Open for Business aims to help small companies reduce costs and stay afloat during the coronavirus period.

Now there are 6 companies that provide free versions of their file-sharing services and platforms for collaboration and communication. So far, Box, Cloudflare, Google, GoToMeeting, Microsoft and Webex (Cisco) have joined the platform, but the developers expect this list to expand.

Because of the coronavirus, many companies are switching to remote mode, and hackers are trying to take advantage of it more actively: for example, cybersecurity experts have noted that phishing attacks have become more frequent lately. In this regard, Cloudflare decided to provide small companies free access to Cloudflare for Teams products by September. They replace the security measures in place in offices and help protect remote employees.
